Fountain
Concept website · An art deco bathhouse in New York
A logo turned into a building: an art deco bathhouse around a gold fountain, with water you can touch and a booking that follows real opening hours.
- 8 pages and a booking flow
- 1 film take for the moving hero
- 60 frames a second on scroll
Result Eight pages, one material: gold on onyx. It scrolls at 60 frames a second, and the fountain draws itself when a visit is booked.
01
The brief
The Fountain Enterprises logo, turned into a website for a spa. Unique, with great animation and Apple level smoothness.
02
The idea
The logo is the building. Its arch becomes the door you walk through, its gold line becomes a thread that runs down every page, and its fountain sits at the heart of the bathhouse.
03
The build
One film take, cut into a still opening and a glide through the door, with water on the pool that ripples under your finger. The House is drawn as a thermal floor plan, cold to warm. The booking knows the rules: sessions stop at the last start that ends by 11 pm, and gift cards run from $25 to $2,000.
04
The polish
On a weak phone with slow 4G, the first words now land in 6.3 seconds instead of 10.8. Scrolling holds 60 frames a second on desktop and phone, and pages change through the arch instead of a blank flash.
